Another week down (which also means another week closer to the race which is terrifying)! Hope everyone stays warm this weekend and uses it as an excuse to spend all day in sweatpants on the couch cuddled with your kids, pets, or loved ones!
HIGH – Feeling much better about fitting in training for 3 (4 with strength training) disciplines . Planning my workouts each week on Sunday and making sure I have things packed in my car is going to be key.
LOW – Realizing how hard it is to count laps in a pool. Didn’t want to have to buy a new swim Garmin right away but it is now a weekend goal.
HIGH – An awesome long run in the snow today. – Everything felt right and the run flew by. Long runs will ALWAYS be my favorite workout.
LOW – Sleep was minimal this week. – I don’t sleep much anyways , but for some reason this week I woke up for about 3 hours in the middle of each night.
HIGH – I am trying to be better about streching – I can feel the tightness is my legs with my body getting use to new activities. I am in dire need of a massage!
LOW – Always forgetting to take pictures – Still a “blogger in process”….
HIGH – I am 17% to my fundraising goal!!
LOW – We still have 83% to go and a cure to find!
LESSONS LEARNED FROM TRAINING THIS WEEK
- I need to get a swimming watch
- It is possible to get a good cycling workout indoors with the right resistance

- My favorite foods are pizza and ice cream
- I live with my best friends and our dogs are also best friends
- I don’t separate my clothes when I do laundry
- I get anxiety if my gas tank goes below half-way
